1. How to use our website?
Step 1: Login - Firstly you have to register
accurate information to gain access to your new account
among thousands of visitors to Gia Nhien Co., Ltd. (please
write down your ID and password for future inquiries).
Please provide your valid email so that we can send
quotation on the products you are interested in . If your
account is available due to previous registration, you are
requested to enter only your ID and password and click the
"Login" button to go through Step 2. In case you forgot
your password, click at "I forgot my password" and enter
your ID name, we will send the password to your email within
a minute.
Step 2: Review item - You are able to view
your inquiry items and you may change their quantity by
directly typing in the quantity column or select a tick as
Y/N box to remove it. Remember to click the "Update basket"
button to update any changes you made. Click "Continue"
button to continue inquiry or "Check out" to go
through
Step 3.
Step 3: Review your final inquiry and type in
"Your request" box if you have any special requests or
suggestions. Once finished, click "Submit" button. Now you
have finished your inquiry procedure.
2. Type of products?
All products are 100% hand-woven or hand-made so that
normally tolerance of 5% deviation in dimensions and color is
allowed.

Materials?
Products are made from
sea grass, water hyacinth, banana fiber, palm leaf, wild
creeper, rattan and bamboo.
These products are made on wooden, rattan, or iron frames.
4.
Timing of work and delivery time?
It depends on the complexity of each product as well as the
quantity. Production lead time for a full 20 foot container
is around 15 - 20 days after receipt of order confirmation.
5.
Prices?
Q. Why we do not show
prices on our website?
A. Our prices are quoted
as exact EXW price. We do not show prices on the internet
since we have to protect the right of our wholesale
customers and of course it also depends on the quantity of
your order.
We prefer to quote FOB (Free on Board) price from Hochiminh City, Vietnam. However, we do quote C&F
(Cost and Freight).
6.
Do I have to pay any extra fees in Vietnam?
No, there are
no hidden fees besides the cost of our products. You will be
clearly instructed once you place an order with us.
7. Placing an order?
We accept orders through the internet, or you can contact us by phone,
fax or email.
8. Terms of payment: (T/T or L/C) ?
Payment
can be made by bank-transfer (USD, EURO) if your order is
placed from overseas.
You will be instructed clearly on how to
transfer money into our bank account when placing an order.
For
large orders of US$1,000 or more, we need a 30% down payment at
the signing of the contract or after confirming internet-orders
(email order). The balance of 70% is paid when the bill of
lading is faxed or scanned and sent by email confirming the
goods have been sent onboard.
We
can only agree to an L/C at sight for orders over US$10,000.
We do not accept VISA, MASTER, JCB & AMERICAN
EXPRESS paid online since the banking system in Vietnam is
limited.
9. How are the products packed?
Each
product is individually packed in a carton box which is
marked with the labels “Fragile”. For a full container
order, we can print outside the carton at your request, such
as your own code with your company information. Please note
that we do not include the barcode if any. The barcode is
provided by the buyers.
10.
Do you guarantee your products?
Yes, we do. If
for some odd reason you received a defective product from us,
we will replace it on the next shipment.
11. Changes or cancellation?
Changes or cancellation can be accepted only prior our
scheduled production, if changes or cancellation are
done during production of original order calculated from the
date of down payment the deposit, it cannot be executed
anymore.
12.
What should I do if I receive the shipment in damaged
condition?
We suggest
that you buy insurance for your shipment which costs 0.05%
of the invoice total. Please notify us by fax or email
immediately within 7 days of shipment arrival. Please
provide us with photos of any damages.
13. How
many items are loaded in a full 20 foot container?
The volume for
a full container depends on the items of your purchase.
Please just list out the list and quantity of your proposed
order so that we can calculate and reply to you how many
cubic meters your order will fill up. Then, you know the
percentage to add up or reduce the quantity in the
container.
14. How are the products shipped?
All products are shipped directly from Vietnam if you placed an order under the
following terms:
* For less than a container load (LCL), the minimum shipment
is 1 cubic meter. At least a full 20 foot container is
preferred.
* For quantity order, we usually send the
shipment in a full 20 or 40 foot container load (FCL).
It takes about 3-6 weeks from Vietnam sea port to
overseas by sea freight. (Time of delivery varies by
locations, and also based on the season of the year)
We do ship sample goods
by air freight by FedEx, DHL, TNT or any of our local Express
services. However, buyers will pay for shipping costs.
Please provide us information if you have your express account.
15.
How much is the shipping cost to my port?
Sorry, we
can not tell you beforehand until we have your provided
information of the port name of destination. Once we have
this information, our shipping company will send you the quote
right away.

based on the season of the year)
16. Can you
manage the packing and shipping details of my order?
Our company
has an export department that handles the customs
declaration and paperwork in Vietnam and ships the goods
directly to you without forwarding them to a third party.
17. Shipping Agents?
Our shipping
lines, NATCO
GmbH., INTERNATIONALE SPEDITION, and
AMERICAN CONTAINER LINE, are the
international cargo service and they have agent offices all around
the world. If you wish to receive the goods at your
home, the shipping agent will deliver them to your door and
the cost depends on the distance from the port to your
house. The costs are directly agreed between you and the
overseas shipping agent without any overcharges.
18. Catalog request?
We make
many new products monthly so that we cannot print out
our full inventory of products on a catalog. We do have
a brochure but we are sorry that we do not send catalogs
by post upon request. Please check back our website
often for product updates.
19. Can
you custom-make my design?
We can
custom-make any products upon customers' inquiry. Your
own designs are welcome. Quantity of new design depends
on the complexity of the sample.
20. Exclusive design and custom model?
We always honor an agreement with customers. If you ask
for exclusive design, we will not sell them to another
customers. Just send us your design, complete with the
measurements, the way of finishing and then the rest let
us carry out for you.
21. I
am planning a trip to Vietnam. How do I find your
showroom?
We can
arrange to have our staff pick you up at your hotel and
bring you to our showroom. Or simply call us upon your
arrival and we can guide you how to find our showroom.
